NEW  DEVELOPMENTS  FOR  FOUR  FOUR  TIME
Four Four Time now for groups

We are listening to our customers, and there will soon be a few new tweaks to the software to make it more versatile, while still keeping the simplicity.  The first addition is the option to write the timer data to a server, while keeping the software on the computer C Drive as the default.  This is now included in the software package.

Tell us what you need - If you have an unusual feature with your software, or different needs, we welcome contact to see whether we can find a solution.

Our student helper set for a great career!

In 2005 Rebecca Gildersleve, then a first year undergraduate at Newcastle University, joined us to help on our stand at the B2B Exhibition at Newbury Racecourse.   Rebecca had not been involved in the commercial world before - but being highly intelligent, was very quick on the uptake on how to promote the Four Four Time Project Time Logging software when talking to visitors on our stand.  She soon was demonstrating the Time Tracking software and confidently dealing with interested customers.  On her lunch break she visited other stands, talked to promoters, and put our business card into a draw which won us a year's publicity with our local business newspaper.   As an extra thank you we gave Rebecca a Four Four Time Project Timer, which she used at university (See her testimonial).

After the Exhibition Rebecca said she loved the "buzz" of business, and it set her thinking about a career in Marketing.   This line of thought led her to apply in her third year for business training - and she has now achieved a First Class Degree and landed herself a traineeship with Price Waterhouse!   Congratulations to Rebecca - well deserved success!

We've no doubt she has a great future ahead.

WORK WISE UK - Working Smarter - Living better

Have you heard of WorkWiseUK yet?   This is a dynamic non profit making organisation supported by strategic partners, created to study and encourage implementation of flexible working hours and working at home.  The huge benefits of this will be the creation of a happier work life balance for employees, resulting in greater productivity and less staff turnover, together with a huge impact in transport reduction - particularly at peak periods where people working flexible hours will spread the load - and those working at home will reduce it.

Tony and Jill Spiers - Directors of Four Four Time - attended the WorkWiseUK Summit conference in Westminster in May 2007, and were inspired by the concept and detail from the eminent speakers - all well known national leaders and public figures.

With the encouragement of remote working and the developing facilities available,

Four Four Time feel they will have a part to play in this initiative, providing simple Time Logging for flexible hours and home workers and their employers, who will need some method of recording their work time.  We look forward to becoming involved in this inspiring society change.

Employers, employees and individuals will benefit from knowledge of this organisation and government involvement. Work Wise Week 2008 will be launched with National Work from Home Day, Thursday 15th May. Media events during the Week will cover the many aspects of smarter working practices and will end with the Work Wise Summit 2008 on Wednesday 21st May, which will be held at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster, London.  Read all about it on the website at www.workwiseuk.org.
